Where is Pokesdown?

Pokesdown is now part of the Bournemouth conurbation situated on the south coast of England a few miles to the west of Southampton. Situated midway between Christchurch and Bournemouth, Pokesdown as a village has all but been swallowed up by the two towns.

Other surrounding towns in the area include Ringwood, New Milton, Poole and Salisbury.
